It is very hard to succeed on youtube as a music artist when the only thing you're doing is upload original tracks once a month. I feel like I am not accomplishing anything for the past year because it is so hard to apply people's advice to music channels. "Build retention!" "Make better thumbnails!" "Engage the audience with your edits!" ...Its very hard to replicate when its just me showcasing my music with nothing to offer. Sometimes you get lucky but thats just not gonna work if you keep doing that.
So from now on expect more youtubey videos. Like tutorials, commentary and alot more remixes (of course the remixes will be something I actually want to remix instead of me forcing myself to follow trends lol). These videos will also attempt to appeal to viewers and click-through but not to the point where its pure soulless and brainrot. You guys will get to see what I mean soon.
This can also be an opportunity to bring out my personal side to youtube and become more flexible.
