From a video I saw it takes at minimum 50 pikmin as that's the weight of the heaviest ship part

idk much about pikmin glitches but i have no idea how you would collect any ship parts, ik as few as 3 pikmin can nudge parts by carrying Olimar himself if he lays down but im pretty sure pikmin have to be carrying an item to initiate the cutscene where you actually collect it? interested in seeing how this goes

UPDATE HOUR
So I've decided to actually start using my second channel again and uploading the (poorly edited) progress for my next challenge: beating Pikmin without making Pikmin! I was recently inspired by some super sick TASes by @TRR010, and Pikmin is just full of cool glitches and routing opportunities.
