Welp, democracy spoke, and it looks like we're headed for another episode of Pokémon Smash Bros movesets!
Comment a hypothetical Smash Bros-style moveset for any Pokémon (I have a model for) and I will make my best attempt to animate it in GARRY'S MOD!
Here are DA RULES:
1. You are not limited to characters pictured below-- pick any one you want! Just PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT I DON'T HAVE A MODEL FOR EVERY POKEMON. PLEASE ask if I have a model for the one you want before wasting time on a moveset!
Note: This is optional, but before you start, I'd suggest picking an archetype for your character (grappler, heavyweight, all-rounder, etc.) and basing the moveset off that. Might make things less messy.
ANOTHER note: It doesn't have to just be a traditional fighter! It can also be a boss character or an assist trophy-style character (assist trophies will be grouped together in one segment)-- just make sure to label it as such!!
2. You have to make an ORIGINAL moveset. Just reciting the moveset of a character from an existing fighting game will go ignored-- but inspiration from an existing character is fine as long as you make it original.
3. You don't have to make the entire thing-- but if it's too small there's a bit less of a chance of me putting it in, or just grouping it in with other small submissions (so ideally, maybe shoot for around 15 moves?)
Note: Not every move needs to resemble an existing Pokémon move-- my personal suggestion is to make the physical moves more nondescript, while special moves have reference to actual moves seen in the games.
4. You can submit a maximum of 3 characters, and please group them into one comment. This is to prevent clutter and make sure that not too much of the video is taken up by one person's submissions.
5. You can feel free to add onto other submissions! You can add moves the original submission missed, or add properties to existing ones, though please don't fundamentally change moves in the original post.
6. You can change your submission as long as it's before submissions close! Just be sure to mark it accordingly and/or delete the original so I don't get it confused!
I'll probably work on this in tandem with my next blooper video, just so I can avoid burnout and repetition-- so expect teasers for both. Now let's get creative!
