You can't think your way through your feelings. You have to feel your way through them. They won't always make sense. They are travelers passing through. Allow them to come, feel them, and let them pass. Don't guilt or shame yourself for the way you process. Your emotions have intelligence too, and no amount of covering up and self righteousness will take them away. You'll just bury and swallow them until it bubbles to the surface. Approach it with curiosity. Why am I angry? Why am I sad? Go to the depths and be present. Only then will you begin to know thyself and understand. 🩷
