Queen was the WORST Yonkou commander we've actually seen fight, in both crews. He did nothing against Marco but get kicked around. He never hit any target with his laser. He was turned into a helicopter by Sanji's kicks. He even made Chopper look good. He shot himself TWICE, and he only lost because he was dumb enough to attempt hitting that fodder geisha AGAIN (because he failed to unalive her, the first time), right in the middle of a high stakes battle against Sanji. He was briefly K.O'd by amnesic Big Mom, without haki, in two random slams. And no, he did NOT K.O her with his Brachio Bomber, which landed totally OFF GUARD and was tanked WITHOUT HAKI, mind you. Big Mom fell asleep, as evidenced by the fact she immediately started snoring. In truth, when she regained her memory and Queen had a whiff of her actual haki, he knew he was gonna die right there and then, if she attacked. Y'all milk this gag interaction to oblivion, as if Queen ever stood a chance against someone who can fight Kaido for three days without significant damage.. Besides his durability, Queen was a letdown. The only impressive thing he ever did, was catch base Luffy's random punch in Udon, and call him weak. I think people assumed he was strong based on that. But that's just like Jack going up solo to free Doflamingo made us think he was really that guy. He showed trash AP, trash haki, trash battle IQ, mid DF mastery, and terrible character. Anything he did to Sanji happened while Sanji's body was behaving funny, or when he had his little identity crisis. How do people think that this buffoon would fare against someone like Katakuri, who up until the MC fought him with all the plot armor in the verse, had never lost a fight ? Katakuri mid diffs that fat, clumsy, imbecilic dinosaur who's only a genius in a lab.

There's two things that kill me when arguing Katakuri vs Beast Pirates. They're both really stupid arguments that always pop up: 1. The Kaido one-shot argument : as if Kaido is in the same league as his Yonkou commanders. In truth, Kaido would most likely one shot Queen as well, with an ACoC Thunder Bagua, like he did to WCI Luffy 2. The Ulti argument : which totally ignores the fact that Luffy was clearly holding back by not using ryuo, as evidenced by the fact that he was able to knock down and harm Kaido in base, as soon as he got on rooftop. If you think that Ulti is more, or even as durable as base Kaido, I don't know what to tell you. The Scabbards were stated as stronger than the Tobi Roppo. Once he got over his wish of a glorious death, Base Kaido low-diffed the scabbards in a 8v1. Base Kaido would no-diff Ulti. In fact, base Yamato K.O'd transformed Ulti with a weaker, non ACoC Thunder Bagua, even though she didn't really mean to harm Ulti (she said so when they faced again, later) and only used it to stop her before she would hit Luffy. People think that base Onigashima Luffy is stronger than Boundman Luffy without ryuo, which is simply not true. Ryuo is the killer app that makes Luffy more lethal in base, than even Boundman Luffy was. Without advanced haki (ryuo, Future Sight, ACoC), WCI Boundman totally washes base Onigashima Luffy. He's faster, more powerful, more durable... WCI Boundman Luffy would probably one shot Ulti, or at least send her flying off the island. People forget the power boost that comes with Luffy's transformations, just because learning advanced haki sent his AP through the roof. And then, they forget that he didn't use any advanced haki against Ulti, or even land any of his special moves on her, really. No Pistol, Gatling, Rifle, Bazooka...only a random double kick on the chin. Luffy mostly tanked her specialty (the headbutts), and she's a Pachycephalosaurus zoan. A dinosaur known for having a particularly hard cranium. People are amazed that Luffy considered using G4 to tank her special attack, and get rid of her. The same G4 he used later to one-shot a Number (those ancient giant clones), as he was trying to get to the rooftop as quickly as possible.

REAL scaling between Kat and Queen Strength - Queen was able to match with Big Mom for a bit, which Katakuri has never done (1) Speed - Kat and it's self-explanatory. Queen has no definable speed feats and has anti-feats vs. Sanji (1) Durability - Queen, and it's self-explanatory, too. he was able to tank multiple high AP attacks from Marco and then Sanji. I'm also not dumb enough to confuse Durability for Endurance (2) Endurance - Kat; no explanation necessary (2) Stamina - Kat; again, no explanation needed (3) IQ - Queen; just has far better statements and feats (3) BIQ - Kat; was able to turn the Mochi fruit into an immensely fearsome and versatile fruit (4) AP - Kat has had much better showings of AP compared to Queen that we've seen (5) DC - Kat; he has an awakened Devil Fruit, and he can use it to decimate a far larger area than Queen despite his weaponry and arsenal (6) Offence - Kat; his Devil Fruit awakening and better AP are just better offensively than what Queen has (7) Defence - Queen has much better durability, and he's a Zoan, so he has physical amps + better healing when it comes down to it (4) Skills - Equals. They're both good at what they do and are equally skilled with their respective abilities. (Kat: 8) (Queen: 5) Agility - Kat just has better showings and feats (9) Abilities/Hax - Kat has a far more versatile kit than Queen (10) Observation Haki - Kat is the only one between them with Future Sight (11) Armament Haki - Queen is the only one between them with Adv. Armament / Ryou (6) Conqueror's Haki - Katakuri is the only one with it (12) but can't use it effectively against Queen since it's not ACoC. Scaling — Katakuri mid diffs, more abilities, better speed, and insane versatility carry him to a win. Match-up — Katakuri mid diffs. His stamina and speed allow him to keep distance and keep away from Queen's attacks that can take him out in a few hits cuz of Adv. Armament. Reality - Katakuri ext. diff. Kat will be forced to rely on his fruit awakening because of Queen's massive size when transformed, insane destructive potential, and insane durability on top. Queen should have relative stamina to Kat since he participated in the 3-day debacle of Onigashima, and that'll make it a true battle of attrition that Kat will eventually win with lots of difficulty.

I like feel it wouldn’t make sense if the big mum pirates and the beasts pirates aren’t on similar levels. Because tbf Katakuri could’ve gotten stronger after Luffy defeated him. Also if all members of the beast pirates js stronger than the big mum pirates crew then there wouldn’t have a been a alliance

Even characters like Law and Zoro (While having 20 broken bones) could take thunder bagua from hybrid Kaido while the same Luffy that ate 100 blows from Katakuri got oneshotted. Queen doesn't have a clear way to pass future sight but he is too durable to be taken down and he has too many weapons while not being actualy slow.
