Absolutely. Especially when it comes to LOTM , rezero , ovr fans. They think because they read their so called " peak " manwha / manga / anime that they can call other manga/manwha mid , trash . I like to watch and read what entertains me and than I open a comment section and see these " peak " readers trash talk and call it mid or trash . And people shouldn't read it and read their " peak " manwha and manga .

To be honest. No, not at all. Maybe it makes interacting with certain parts of the anime and manga fandom more toxic and annoying, but it’s not like it’s ruining the production of Animanga, or getting shows cancelled. You can ignore it.

Yes definetly Everyone has the same takes with everyone having different takes being shun to the side This results in everything being the same even if stuff that shouldn't be rated as highly as it should be being rated highly, and stuff that are incredibly good but overlooked being put aside

Yes definitely, and honestly it’s just so stupid tbh, like why does it matter the shows you consumed is “better written” than what I consumed? We just compare shows for fun, we ain’t doing it as if your life depended on it lmao. And it’s not just that, even well written works like Attack on Titan, Vinland saga and berserk all get attacked or downplayed because simply they are popular, and elitists would always try to come up with something like “ooh read this 2000 chapter Chinese novel, it’s SOOO Peak” like Jit, I will watch and read what interests me, not for the sake of scaling. And not to mention these so called elitists probably do not even know what is writing at all or just only know surface level writing, trust me, ask any elitist you know, and they wouldn’t even know how to detect subtle writing or subtext, which creates Depth for characters, and usually all their analysis the elitsist have made or something are all bullshit too. At the end of the day, we are just comparing characters for fun, it shouldn’t even be a competition on consuming works to feel superior because one work is better written than the other. And I will only read works that spark my interest, not reading it for the sake of doing it or because it’s “peak fiction” Sorry for the small rant, but man sometimes I feel the writing community elitists doesn’t even know what writing really is, it’s just all a boasting contest now.

Definitely, especially writing elitists. I swear they think anything that doesn't have AOT or Vinland saga writing is automatically trash and just shouldn't be enjoyed by people 😔
