Not necessarily in my opinion , I was thinking that their brains and consciousness were either copied into the game or their whole body was taken into the game but digitalised into unique avatars. Either way, we don’t know quite how the humans were transferred into the digital circus yet.

I always thought when the headset was on their bodies just kinda went limp and their minds were sucked in Although this does make me wonder if the person that originally was Kaufmo is just dead somewhere in that office place from the pilot (hopefully people still remember that place..)

Honestly I’m not completely sure… Maybe all the circus members are controlling they’re avatars while they play the games… I also have this theory that Caine was more than just an ai and was a victim just like the others but he never told anyone and perhaps that Abel Caines brother was the real villain at the C and A company for The Amazing Digital Circus game and was the one who forced Caine to leave his real life circus and start working for The C and A company. I know that Caine is meant to be an ai and all but it’s just a theory…
