@JBrinx18

It's going to be close to the 7900xt, between outperforming it and losing out. Given the 4070 ti can be tied or even a tiny bit beaten by the 6950xt on occasion, we'll have to see...

@zodwraith5745

I'd assume it will be closer to the XTX than the XT, and easily match or beat it in RT. 16gb is plenty in this performance class so trading off raster and RT wins the XTX really needs to be price dropped to $850 to keep it's lead. Staying at $900-950 you're just going to buy a 4080 super for superior DLSS and RT. At these performance levels RT and frame gen become much more relevant. Edit: this comment aged like milk on a summer sidewalk. Holy shit what a huge disappointment the first reviews are showing. Of course who's surprised to see yet another shitty release this generation? It's so much worse than the specs would lead you to believe so I wonder if they didn't have drivers ready for launch. Way to go Nvidia!

@DylRicho

Where is the "on par" option? Going by TPU's review of the 4070 Ti, and the 8% increase leak, it would put it on par with the 7900 XT.

@offroadskater

These Super-GPUs are far too close together to have a 400 $ spread. The only really good thing about the Supers is that they raise the bar a little higher for the 50xx to not embarrass themselves. They can't make next gen just 20-30% better than the original 4070 family. Now it has to be 40%+ at least.

@wewillrockyou1986

Neck and neck really, kind of a coin toss which will win on average.

@ariyune7007

It will probably beat the 7900xt, but none of that matters since I got one at $700, so the price/performance blows the 4070ti super out of the water any day.

@OnlyAnOpinion20

Got to laugh at those expecting it to beat the 7900XTX... 1440P/4K it will trade blows with the 7900XT, but ultimately will be a few percentage points slower on average.

@Rider07041

Trade blows with the XT but outperform it heavily in RT workloads

@routine8

I would totally get an FE card if they existed just to have Nvidias own ludicrous branding "Ti Super" written on it.

@mrshinobigaming8447

The only problem with 4070tis is price

@genx156

I mean it depends on what you mean by "OUTPERFORM" because if it's power efficiency or Frames per Watt - it's gonna smack the 💩💩💩 outta the Radeon

@filip9587

At the end of the day, we'll all be screwed by Nvidia, so what's it matter?

1 year ago | 5

@50H3i1

Even if it trades blows with 7900XT it's still around 100$ more expensive with Radeon's new price drops .

@BAG97

Hahaha "outperform". Yhyh nvidia is not that generous. Lemme hear it "BuT bUt rAyTrAcINg" yh yh😂

@jannegrey

I'm gonna go with middle option. Which is a bit sad for basically the best card in a line-up (yes, 4080 being stronger and finally more "reasonably" priced is great, but it's still 1000$).
