@AntoekneeBerlin0412

You don’t want to sell me Death Discs. You want to go home and rethink your life

@Strylexic

I’d pay $1000 if every character was a hot tub variant and the whole Death Star was a hot tub

@Mike-1911

$1k is too much for a Lego set, like many game companies, Lego got the wrong message during the pandemic

@Ali-Adamantium

I think Lego is tripping with their prices, like lego Star Wars turning into some sort of luxury brand with them prices

@legovaderproductions6739

its a great set that should have been called master builder series, not ucs

@Gzilla313

This set should have been Star Wars’ Hogwarts System. Sell all the rooms as individual sets over 3 years that can connect and you have a Death Manhole Cover display if you get them all.

I Kinda Like it. I think it'll look nice on a shelf, and have a good dollhouse style interaction.

@Euanplushstudios

If this wasn’t the first $1k Lego set and if everyone wasn’t expecting it to be a sphere, I’m sure people would be hating on it less

@chaz2187

Perhaps they had a flat Death Star believer amongst the designers of the death disc. 😂😂

@Kalyan-b3g

The deaths star is NOT quite operational

$1,000 is a crazy price no matter what the final product would be, but to charge that for an oversized diorama is just absurd. Yeah it looks fine, but I wouldn't pay more than $400 for that. UCS sets of vehicles should be complete builds that look fantastic, especially if they set the new record for premium pricing.

@Halo_Enjoyer127

Should have been a giant Lego Hot Tub with Hot Tub Variants of every character

@sssdozer

Seeing all the American made content hung up on the 1k price tag.... our NZD has had us well over 1k for years on previous sets 😅. Be cooler if it was a sphere..

@mangogearsolid

Im actually starting to like it, I wanted the original set for posing all the figures but this lets you while all being visible on display. BUT 1000 DOLLARS BRO

@xty9582

If they really want people to think it’s worth $1000 they really need to bring everything to the table that means good many figures no stickers, generous printed parts in each diorama needs to be the level of detail of the separate diagrams they’ve been selling for the last five years

@BDD_Builds

That the set itself looks very good and is honestly a pretty cool concept. The main issue is with the price.

@spaceagepenguin

I love that Imperial Shuttle, I’m totally going to be placing a brick order on those parts!

@DudleyPittman

It’s way more display friendly than a giant orb. Do any Lego Star Wars collectors have room for anything anymore? It’s great but too expensive.

@toxiceagle57

Lego is only making a $1000 set for the novelty and notoriety of a 4-digit price tag.

@OsirusIridia

The cross-sectional disc design is better than a spherical design.
