He should do it one more time to prove it wasn't a fluke ๐

This is the kind of lock a thief would lock pick to steal it for themselves.

This is the kind of stuff I always think about doing. Then I remember I lack the skill and tools required. Then I try it anyway

Been a fan of Quillโs work for a while, heโs a true artisan. Anyone who hasnโt checked out his engraving should really consider doing so!

I've seen an engraver do this on a pew pew, unbelievable skill and craftsmanship. He was using all hand tools, very sharp little chisels, and curved or ball ended tools.

A practice lock? Was it for picking practice, or engraving practice?

So i'm a cobbler. My boss is the owner and a traditional shoe repairer. I'm qualified in everything but i do all engraving and locks. And i tend to mess around with the computer engraver on old locks and bits ot scrap metal that come into the shop or i can find. Got good enough at it my boss started letting me do some custom pop in lock sets. Good to see something by someone with some real skills though

Hats off to Jonathan Quill for turning this Covert Instruments practice lock into a stunning piece of art.
