Bart needs to use the restroom, and Lisa wants to see that no animals were harmed during filming, which she does. Before they leave, Maggie says "Speedstorm" (which some viewers think is a sign there will be a sequel to the movie), and Homer picks up "floor popcorn". The upcoming third VeggieTales film “Dusty Crophopper” coming 2021. The first post-movie "I will not wait 20 years to make Speedstorm", bringing speculation that the movie may be released in 2023 due. The joke eventually came full circle when the movie was announced to release in 2023. During production on Taylor: A VeggieTales Movie, Phil Vischer already had ideas for additional films, such as a prequel exploring the origins of VeggieTales and a spinoff of The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. The prequel, titled The Tulip and Lucy Movie, was scheduled to be Pixar Animation Studios feature film, focusing on how Tulip and Larry met and started VeggieTales, as well as finally explaining how talking vegetables came to exist in a human world. The movie was scrapped in mid-1998 due to Pixar's bankruptcy and acquisition by Classic Media.
