Yes sir, the 80s was the best year to be born. Oh the good memories, the good times, the good company... But most importantly, years of good triple A games and cinema. Bring me back.

PC gaming in 1998, with Age of Empires and Starcraft. What a time to be alive! One or more masterpieces were released every year!

Born in 1981, my Dad had an Atari 2600and that exposed me to 2nd generation games at home. Plus old school arcades at the bowling alley. Operation Wolf, Mrs Pacman, Space invaders, 1941, Joust, Donkey Kong.... the classics

2nd generation for me. Born in 87 and learned gaming on the families Atari 2600, NES, and our Tandy computer. My older brother got a sega for Christmas the year it came out and that was awesome. My first system of my own was the Playstation 1 I got with twisted metal, demolition derby and Wipeout. The next year in 96 i got a N64 with Starfox and mario. I do have a vivid memory of visiting a family friend and seeing street fighter 2 for the first time which I believe was the moment I went from casual gamer to it becoming a passion of mine still to this day.

Technically, I first played video games on my Dad's work desktop back in 1986. This was not considered a PC (Personal Computer), but my Dad had a PC game "Digger" on a floppy disk. I played Digger for roughly 4 months before the work computer became a PC when my Dad's work upgraded his set, and let him keep the old one. It wasn't until Dec 1988 that we got the NES.

I was into gaming as soon as I played a video game which was on my friends Amstrad CPC. Then my friends introduced me to the Arcades. Games like Shinobi, Shadow Dancer and Golden Axe those games were awesome. So I wanted those games at home Master System and Nintendo were okay but not quite as good as the Arcade. The Megadrive was great , I played Sonic and Truxton on a Kiosk at Tandy's electronics store. Then along came the Super Nintendo with Street Fighter 2 that was the one I had to have.

My mum had an acorn with Pac-Man, Asteroids, and Space Invaders in the mid 80s, used to watch my mum play then a couple of years later I got an Amstrad CPC 464, then Mega Drive, then PS1 and Saturn.
