Dan Davis History

Hi, did you see my latest video on metal money in Bronze Age Europe? https://youtu.be/EZ2PS5S6w1c

I know not all the notifications go out and not everyone can watch in the middle of the week. Some people actually have jobs and family lives, so I've heard.

Anyway, have you had enough of ancient copper mining and copper production or would you be interested in seeing more on this subject? I've got a great idea I'm working on now, I hope you'll be into it.

I hope you're doing well, thank you as always for watching my videos.

Cheers,
Dan

I watched the video and would love to see more, especially about ancient economies

I'd watch just about anything you put out. Always fascinating to see how "old" some seemingly "modern" concepts are. Fascinating stuff.

Dan, another great video! We appreciate your insights & deep dives into the ancient civilizations of Eurasia. Would definitely like to see a follow-up topic on weights & measures, as you hinted.

Nope, of course not because why tf would YouTube recommend me a video from a channel where I have a 100% watch rate? Thank you for the community post as ever.

Excellent video brother. I watch every one that comes up on my feed. Yes. I, for one, want to see whatever you've got in mind.

An additional subject related to this would be labor and mining, and it’s effects through the ages. Mining being one of the cruelest jobs on the planet and one that will break a man within 10 years, has given us, Spartacus and hundreds of others who have had to die in the mines.

@daques

I watched it and LOVED it and have been learning more about the origins of metallurgy ever since. It really sparked my interest, absolutely fascinating. Thank you for making it and please make more on this topic if you can!

@thatLadyBird

Of course, I always watch usually the day theyre released ☺ Yes, please do a video about ancient standardized weights and measures. Doesnt have to be limited to bronze age. Neolithic britian used them, surely also in other places....

Take cognisance of the fact that I will not take any copper videos from you that are not of fine quality.

Bronze Age mining and trade is fascinating. I am also interested in genetic adaptations as populations migrate to different areas and intermix. Also, as much as I love the European Bronze Age and the Neolithic, it might be interesting to learn more about archeology further East, especially the areas now named “Stan”.
