R.I.P. Rick! "Rudy" from Crime of the Century is a personal favorite from him. I love the back and forth between him and Roger on the "How can you live without love? It's not fair" section.

@JTCurtis Hello, I don’t tend to make long comments that much, but I’m making an exception for this because this is very important news for me, as an aspiring musician. Such a saddening thing to find out. I ended up listening to Supertramp on the way home yesterday after my day ended, and fittingly enough, From Now On was the last song I heard before I’d find out the news. In 2022, I was a bit of a mess mentally. I was moving into a new college, and my confidence was lost. At a time where I felt loneliness, silent and empty, Supertramp was and still is to this day, a sense of comfort. The lyricism, the delivery, the musical elements, it all seemed like I was hearing my own emotions through the speakers (and my headphones). I know your review for Breakfast In America wasn’t that positive, but I’m willing to forgive you on the premise that they aren’t a “easy-to-like” band, at least in my opinion. Despite a select few saying they like them, most people I ask either barely know them or scoff when they hear or remember a bit of their music. I guess he’s now found his own paradise. ❤🕯️

Damn! #RIPRickDavies of #Supertramp. I just did a review of #BreakfastinAmerica. Despite me giving the album a spotted fish, there is no doubt that Rick was a supremely talented musician and songwriter, who penned Bloody Well Right, Goodbye Stranger, and my essential track from BIA, Gone Hollywood. Thanks for the great music Rick.
