Awww. You can do it. I did it once when I was only 22 yrs old. Sending prayers & positive thoughts to both you & Daffodil. She's a pretty girl! I agree.. have the puppies in a loving home, not the shelter.

God bless you !! Thanks for helping her, is fun to have puppies at home. No worries their mother instincts are amazing. Praying that the delivery goes smooth. They usually clean the puppies eat the placenta and start feeding them immediately. If you want for her to produce more milk give her some cooked old fashioned oats cooked in water. She will love it.

OUR FAMILY HAS GROWN, & she’s due ANY day now!!👇
🌎, this is Daffodil 🌼
She was surrendered as a pregnant stray to the local humane society I volunteer at just a few days ago 💔
They didn’t want her delivering at the shelter, so I brought her home to help her through whelping (birth)👇
I’ll be fostering Daffodil 🌼 and her puppies until they’re weaned & ready to be adopted at ~8 weeks old 🥹

While I’m excited to witness this miracle, I’m nervous as heck! This is my first whelp but I’m lucky to have experienced vets, trainers, & friends nearby (& afar) to help (again why I love our community, the support is incredible)👇
