Praise be to our Lord and God bless the vets that continue to keep this country safe. I'm glad Veteran's Month is becoming more accepted because after enduring all the other ridiculous cultural months, it's not fair that those who serve and die for a cause greater than themselves only get a day.

Today is the start of Veterans Month, and I wish to pay my respect to the men and women who served their nation.
While it’s tempting to put them on a pedestal, to portray them as mythical figures, remember they are human. They laugh and cried, they love and hate, and they felt all the same emotions as you do.
While their time serving made them go through things that are difficult to understand for those who weren’t there then, we can still try our best to be there for them now.
Remember the fallen and be there for those who still stand.
God be with you all.
