Hey y'all, thanks for all the love so far on the goofy fairy tales video! It really means the world to me, but something else came up that brought me even more joy.
When I originally started posting on this channel it was mainly just a place to put my animations for school or projects, with no expectations of ever getting views.
But with the channel blowing up, many people have gone back and watched those videos and commented, and that always makes me really happy, but this was the wildest one yet.
Shoutout to @zom8863 who left a comment with a full analysis of my college thesis film "They Have No Faces". I made that at a time when I was obsessed with internet ARGs and the budding analog horror genre, and I wanted to take the opportunity to make my own.
Granted the story is pretty rough around the edges, but his analysis in the comments brought up so many hidden details and plot points that I had completely forgotten about, and it's reminding me so much about the passion I put in while making it.
So now with a proper explainer in the comments, I think it's totally worth giving this old film some love and sharing some of your thoughts and theories. 2020 me could have only ever dreamed of being in a position where people were actually analyzing and theorizing about his work, and I'm so glad that I'm here now.
