Mary’s Music Taste

So this year I want to start a new series on YT where I react to albums I’ve never heard before and give different genres a chance (e.g black metal😬)

I’ve written down a few albums I’m gonna start with, if you have any suggestions/requests please leave a comment below and I shall add them to the list! 🖤

Oldie but goodie is Rattus Norvegicus : The Stranglers. For a debut album it's a great listen. 👍

Chevelle - Sci-Fi Crimes - My all time No.2 band who don't get the attention I think they deserve here in the UK. Gunship - Unicorn - The band that made me see Synthwave as the next evolution in rock music. Could equally recommend their 2nd album too but I think you'll dig this.

Penelope Isles Which Way to Happy or their debut Until the Tide Creeps In. I know you've done classic prog previously, did you ever pick up on Caravan?

Have you checked out Evergrey yet? I'd recommend either In Search of Truth or more recently A Heartless Portrait
