So, this "thing" came in, a Martin CEO-9 Curly Mango with a 00-14 body, seemingly wider string spacing and a broad funky v neck profile. At first blush it felt gawky and sounded odd with a constipated tone. Then it got a good setup. All I can say is, Martin, you make FANTASTIC instruments. Not only is it gorgeous to look at (a piece of art really) but it plays like butter and has a beautiful mid-focused tone with sweet highs and subtle lows. Just brilliant. IYKYK... Anyone else a Martin fan?
