Space Maker Method

Hi Everyone! I need your help!

We've had so many great series on the channel over the years, some more tear-jerkers than others. Can you tell me what has been one of the most stand out, heartwarming moments that you've watched on the channel?

If you know the episode, you can leave that too. Otherwise just tell me which client it was and why it was such an emotionally resonant moment for you.

💕 Thank you, April 💕

Dani and Julia because in both you were able to truly finish inside and out every room every drawer every object. Those 2 series are masterpieces

Julia’s in NYC was truly healing for many of us. We love our things, but our mental and physical space is precious. ❤

Chelci when she saw her stuff out on the shelf. She said she was never allowed to decorate as a child.

Dani was so relatable and easy to resonate with. She motivated me to kick start some decluttering. I've watched her series twice.

Julia crying over pens after hours, feeling that she wasn't doing "enough". Such a vulnerable share. And then to see her come back strong the next day. It's a very real part of the process!

Hearing Julia say that she didn't feel that she was allowed to read the ending of your book, and now she's living that exact chapter was incredibly relatable (and made me tear up)! She put herself and her vulnerability front and center through her process and let herself feel all the feels, no matter how hard it got. I'm amazed by her tenacity!

Christine & Colin had that incredible through-line of how well they treated each other and functioned as a true partnership. I loved that and I think there was so much to learn from their series that had nothing to do with decluttering 🙂

Probably Julia’s whole story in NYC. You could see the positive effect the whole declutter had on her over the series and she seemed to come away so much more confident.

It was your mom’s declutter for me. Don’t get me wrong, all of these series are life-changing. The effect of your mom committing to declutter and be transparent and vulnerable was amazing to me. She supported you by peeling back her own layers and letting people watch. She’s an amazing woman.

It was a small thing but watching Roberta say "I need this for making candles.... (thinks) I'm not going to be doing that." And she threw away all the candle making stuff. It made me tear up. Her brain is rewiring itself. It's an amazing thing that can happen and gives me so much hope and awe in humanity. Neuroplasticity of the brain is an amazing thing.

Julia's story in NYC ... she was so vulnerable and determined. She was always meeting and exceeding her goals and then one episode she explained how she felt so overwhelmed it was heartbreaking and felt like she'd hit a wall. When you agreed to come back and finish up the kitchen it was such an roller coaster from that low point to the happiness of you returning and finishing the job.
