Hello Malaysia!🇲🇾 Our first country together outside the Philippines --- after 16 years of marriage.🤵♂️👰♂️ Pinag-ipunan talaga. Hindi naman pinangarap pero kusang dumating ang biyaya --- dahil mas priority namin ang basic needs all the time. We got married in 2006 with 50k budget. Hating kapatid sa expenses. P1,600 lang ang wedding gown ko. Lumabas kami ng hotel with P40 in my pocket. Bayad lahat. Walang utang. But plenty of people around us were so generous. Libre ang bouquet ko, our wedding rings, etc. When I reached my apartment, dad handed me P10k. Yehey! Life went on with our salaries. Before our 5th wedding anniv, we got our first home.🏡 Fully paid.🙏 Again, so grateful to have Architect and professional friends na generous sa services. Fast forward, before our 15th wedding anniversary, we were blessed to own a 10-door boarding house.🏘 Walang utang.🙏 Our panganay finished until sixth grade in a private school. Hopefully our bunso too --- who's now in Grade 6. We all know that's it's not a joke to send kids in a private school these days...🧒👦 We've also been to Ilocos, Tagaytay, Manila, Boracay, Iloilo, Cebu, Bohol, Davao for our local travels.✈️ And around Palawan too.🚘 What I follow in life? From the book that my father gave me: Income minus savings = Expenses. And the most important investment: Get financially educated and live simply. Our combined income doesn't even reach half a million yearly. Kaya wala talaga sa laki ng income ang pag asenso sa buhay.
