Who won an Academy Award for his work on the 1958 film "The Old Man and the Sea" based on the Ernest Hemingway novella?

@TomBrzezicki

My favourite Tiomkin score is the one he composed for "The Guns of Navarone". Next would be his music for "Red River", with "The Big Sky" being a very close third.

Old Man & The Sea is a masterpiece. Brilliant storytelling.

Dimitri Tiomkin's score for Rio Bravo is one of my all-time favorites. One of the best film score composers there was. As for The Old Man and the Sea, that may be tied for one of my favorite Spencer Tracy roles alongside Bad Day At Black Rock.

The sea was angry that day, my friends, like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli.

According to the IMDB, all of the first three won the Academy Award for that year. This question was not well made
