Man why do they have to put such cool effects on such lame UB characters. Could easily want to build 2 or 3 of them but I really don’t like the idea of a sonic character in my command zone. Not to mention mechanically unique cards in a secret lair means theyll be way more expensive than they normally would be. I guess printer go brrr

I used to really enjoy Magic the Gathering. Then they started realizing that they can just pretend things are MORE rare than rare, began producing overpowered stuff at an alarming rate, and flooded the secondary market with things ALREADY priced as impossible to find collectibles straight on release day... It used to be a well made game where each year there might be one or two new things to adapt to, but the game felt like it moved forward naturally for the most part. I think around New Cappena things started to get very silly and I've kinda lost faith since. I enjoy the game. I don't enjoy being fingered in the wallet by a poorly maintained, incredibly greedy company that wants to dictate the secondary market, despite not actually helping said secondary market flourish for DECADES.
