Very cool. The unfortunate downside is it takes on that a.i. quality that is present currently. I imagine that will only get sharper and more realistic as the years pass. Having said that, nothing makes me smile like an image of Jerry dropping in on me. His impact on all of us is so profound, and I am grateful to have been alive at the same time as him!

Edit: Without being "full size" -- this will never illustrate just how much detail is in the right picture, even so i think it should do a decent job of giving people an idea of where we're at.
I will post Althea when it's done, hopefully tonight... and then people can judge it fdor what it is.
So, the left isn't even the orginal source, it's already been editied heavily and josh did some color work on it... the original source looks way more washed out and, as you can see, jerry is barely even visible.

I wanted to try using a challenging source to attempt this whole idea with, and it's definetly something i'm not sure we can keep up with doing (I genuinely would need more computers to do this all the time. This is thottling 2 rtx 5090s (if you don't want to know computer lingo... it just means it takes .... thousands of watts of power over continuously for a period of days on thousands of dollars of hardware to get the output on the right ....
This is the "next step" I have been speaking of when it comes to our remasters.
Currently I'm trying to just get one song finished with this workflow, there are a lot of layers/steps involved and it's really pushing the limits of what we can do while preserving "reality" ....
I am genuinely just trying to find a way to do this more efficiently, this is obviously a massive step ahead of anything we've done (or tbh even what big studios are doing.... it's uncharted waters!)
When I started this page, this was the "dream" on the other end... or at least close to it...
I'll try to get at least one song up tongiht, and maybe a full show up tomorrow ... it's going to be difficult just because .... this is a *LOT* of work to throw at the computers... but this is where we need to be to really do justice to these remasters... the bar is set. . -_- :D
