I find myself pondering the mechanisms by which they manage to harden their hearts to the point where they can abandon someone who has demonstrated a profound level of care and concern for their well-being, often at the expense of their own. It's disheartening to acknowledge that many people can be remarkably heartless, prioritizing their own interests above the feelings and needs of others, and yet, despite having encountered numerous individuals who have abandoned me during my most vulnerable moments, I still find myself holding onto the hope that they will one day return.
