I don't think Michael is getting jealous. I think that because Amy lost her memory she was able to process her son's death the correct way and be there for her family because when she shut everyone out she became mean and hurtful to everyone which caused her to change and stop being the woman Michael fell in love with and now she is the woman he fell in love with. Which is now causing problems cause they know they can't go back but they can't deny their history either.
