Look, I get it. Zhu Ran was killed by Cao Pi in his DLC Scenario in DW9. Same with Lu Xun and the rest of Sun Wu. But it's war, and people die. Deaths and injuries from other factions are inevitable. Sure this may cause loose ends, and trust me, I understand. I've endured even more pain than seeing those YouTubers executing Musou Officers just because they don't like them in Dynasty Warriors Empires games, and even this long-enduring suffering I had to go through in War Thunder. The pain feels excruciating enough.
The only deaths and injuries type of loose ends I will never accept is from those that use Treachery to backstab their subordinates for their selfish ambitions including those that were just newcomers to the series. Zhong Hui, for example, committed Treachery in his shitty DLC story in DW9 (worst DLC ever no objections, not to mention the Xiongnu will overwhelm the so-called "Chosen One" later on: no support = crushing defeat).
Cao Pi on the other hand, well... it's different. Sure, he has unified the whole land, but he, along with Cao Xiu, is aware of the Xiongnu Tribesmen. But as long as he's still lives as Emperor of Wei, the land will always be under control, as long as he has support from Cao Wei to fend off against these Xiongnus.
You see, when factions go against each other, and people die for that reason, then that's that. Again, it's a war, people die. There's nothing else to it. And trust me, I know how you feel when Zhu Ran died (that goes for the rest of you Sun Wu fans out there). This is why I never execute Musou Officers for every of my DW Empires playthrough... unless they've caused unnecessary loose ends.
People may say "bRuH, jUsT tUrN oFf oFfIcEr dEaThS", but I just wanna add more purposes of saving my teammates during battle so they don't die in there. Besides, you already know me as the World's Best Zhong Hui Terminator in DW9 Empires... AND The King of DW9 Empires lol.
