𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝟱 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

- Papers with more citations are more likely to be recognized, validated, and widely recognized.

↳ Set your filter to 5 or more citations to avoid early stage or low impact papers.

- Select Semantic Scholar, PubMed, OpenAlex, or arXiv

↳ Select multiple databases to cross validate findings and avoid source bias.

- Look for Q1/Q2 rated journals. High quality papers usually cite other high quality papers

↳ If using Q3, Q4, or unranked journals, treat them with caution. They might be preliminary or lack validation.

- Make sure the results are current and relevant. Certainly in fast moving fields.
