RIP Manoj sahab, I don't know if the world will believe me or not but this evening, unexpectedly I was singing Mukesh sahab's song 'Chand Si Mehbooba Ho Meri'... Which is highly unlikely for me because I'm a big Kishore Kumar fan and I sing Mukesh sahab's song when I'm really sad) and I kept singing the song without knowing the fact that Manoj ji has passed away! I felt that it was a sign for a moment... When I finally got the news that he passed away, I had tears in my eyes and I started reminiscing about the movies that I watched with my grandma of his. From Himalaya ki God Mein, Purab paschim, roti kapda Makan, wo kaun thi and 'Neel kamal'....I can't even express. I hope this generation remembers and respects his contribution to cinema. The patriot and the actor he was!
