Zach Cregger is a genius, having the actors deliver all their lines happy and with their mouths open made it incredibly tense!

I understand why Jordan Peele wanted to buy the script

“Ok I want you to do it again, but this time I want you to do it happier and with your mouth more open” Zach’s entire directing career

To me this wasn't much of a horror movie so much as like a supernatural thriller mystery with horror elements, but either way I had a real good time with it

This movie proved the thin line between horror and comedy. Absolutely loved it.

Saw it last night knowing absolutely nothing and loved it!! Woke up this morning still thinking about how well done it is from so many different perspectives. Absolutely one to catch in theaters for the full experience

The tonal shifts left me confused about how scared I was. 😂

i liked it a lot, the tracking shots were some of the best ways to build tension i’ve ever seen. there was also a moment that was so tense, and then it seemed to dissipate, and then a sound brought the danger right back, and my entire theatre freaked out. i’m glad i got to have that communal experience.

Sidenote, man I CANT WAIT to hear your thoughts on the HIM football horror movie coming out soon. It’s produced by Peele, not directed but i feel like its gonna be so good. The saints aint gon’ like it at all but that just makes it look mo betta in my opinion. A sports horror/thriller seems so difficult but the trailer looks good.

I can't wait to see this one. Very excited to see what else Zach Cregger comes up with after watching Barbarian. His foray into directing, specifically the horror genre, has been awesome.

I didn’t realize how much making the actors do all of their lines happy and with their mouths open really enhanced their acting capabilities

so solid and unique tbh. not many movies like this one, it almost pulls a pulp fiction with the mix of a ton of clear cinematic influences & the structure of the story. highly recommended

Went in blind and LOVED it. Didn’t expect anything at all from it but it’s one of the best horror films I’ve seen in a while

It doesn't take much to spoil this film best seen if blind. Please don't spoil in the comments
