You two were great together. You ladies complement each other nicely. You're like the Ying to her Yang. It's cool that you are opening the next team up to all genres, but I like to keep to the theme of your channel, horror. Here's my recommendations. How about 'Doctor Sleep"? You've both seen "The Shining" and it is such a great sequel. Cassie may not be able to handle this one scene (the scene in Iowa for those who know), so my fall back movie would be "Silver Bullet" from 1985. Great Stephen King adaptation as well. As far as another genre, the list is too great. I'll throw out Stallone's "Cop Land" from 1997. Another under appreciated movie that proves Stallone can actually act. Too bad you have already watched 'Return of the Living Dead". I'd love to see Cassie react to that.

Good collaboration. Felt like you vibed well, and the dynamic of your fascination with the effects and her horror was fun.

Either Bubba Ho-Tep or Cold in July. They are two wildly different movies adapted from the same writer's works. Not enough people know about them. You could also do Buckaroo Banzai if you want something lighter.

And for a non scary movie, I will recommend Kingdom of spiders from 1977. Starting William Shatner

I saw "Sling Blade" recommended...I second that! Please let Cassie know that the director of Weapons also did "Barbarian" and tell her how much you liked it!

All genres, ay? Well NETWORK w/Faye Dunaway - THE WOLFMAN w/Benecio Del Toro - SOMETHING THE LORD MADE w/Alan Rickman - PRESUMED INNOCENT w/Harrison Ford - TRUE BELIEVER w/James Woods & Robert Downey Jr. - FRACTURE w/Anthony Hopkins & Ryan Gosling (The last 3 are courtroom dramas, Cassie's fave!)
