I unironically hate all political parties and ideologies. I believe politics has become a substitute for religion which is why you have increasing radicalism on both the far left and the far right. And I also believe that potential for bipartisanship especially with the blood sports theatrics that goes on in today's political theater makes the opportunity in politics to make positive change effectively dead. There is opportunity for change in today's society, it's just that going into politics or working for the federal government isn't the right answer.

Tbf, people identifying as moderate says more about where they instinctually like to feel they are positioned within whatever their own information silo happens to be, and doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with their actual beliefs

I’m against using the government functions to protect pdf files, so in the U.S. that makes me a far left communist.

Definitely more progressive. Capitalism is slowly dying, and we’re making policy changes that are having a micro effect on the U.S. system — we need radical change, and fast.

Centered doesn't really mean centered on the chart. Democrats and Republicans are part of the right wing no matter what chart you look at, and since the right wing generally has more capital and people to invest in them, those tend to be the only options we the people get get to choose from. Everyone else is part of the green party and other closely related parties, which never ever make it to an election because politics is run by greed from corporations and billionaires who lobby to get their way. The whole system is fucked either way. And most people would be shocked to find out their views towards human rights and life, education, life and business ownership without government interference, taxes, community building, etc, are all viewpoints spread around in the chart. I don't personally believe there's a person alive today who's views exist only on one part of the chart. That being said, theres many many people today that would fight for their rights, but won't move an inch closer to it because they think they're just 1 person that's doesn't have w chance to make a difference. The only way we can take power from them and give it back to the people is together, the only way we knock these walls down is together. Anyone can see that they are aware we are waking up to their BS, and they're scared. This is why freedom of speech is being taken from us, because if we can't talk we can't organize, and if we can't organize then we have no chance at rebuilding the system.

Especially with politics, the internet often distorts what is the popular opinion around important topics. That's mainly due to the algorithms serving you content that you're most likely to engage with (even just with your watch time). People more often engage with things that evoke their emotions and it just creates a nasty spiral of a content algorithm for you.
In my experience, most people are more moderate than the internet makes you believe.
But I could be wrong! So I just wanted to test this theory. What do you usually identify as?
