Working on a quick project this week. It is a floor standing desk lamp made from all scrap materials. Including the pendant light that is a left over from some of the renovations we are doing on our house. All the wood is scrap hickory flooring which has been a challenge to work with. I intend on putting some walnut accents on this lamp to contrast the hickory (on schedule to do that tomorrow!) I had no idea that hickory was one of the hardest domestic woods out there. The video should be out in a couple of weeks for everyone and hopefully this weekend for channel members. Hope everyone is having a great week!

I’ve got a work bench question. I had a work bench that I converted into a miter saw table. I cut it out and lowered it to 3.5”. It’s not perfect but it’s close. I’m off a hair on the bubble level on one side. Is that going to make much difference? My saw is level just the table itself is off.
