Very true. Sometimes there's also just no shortcuts in the field you're in. All you can do is grit your teeth and bear it.

This is so true in Korea. Everyone has read the same productivity hacks, study routines, and even the best possible resources. Therefore the only way we compete is to simply study more hours 😢

You can't know how to work smart until you have worked hard

I always worked smart until I got into collage.. effort was all that matter, I did all the methods of “study smart” and I was less than average not just because others were smart but I guess my major require a lot of practice, you got to put in hours and days to actually learn and be something.. there is no shortcuts anymore.

I could never understand the use of this quote. Working hard in right direction is working smart because we learn to do things in easier and shorter way every other time. So basically, there is no need to differentiate between those two and suggest people to work smart, not hard as if they are two completely different approaches.

In which case working harder IS working smarter… WHICH MEANS YOU’RE ALWAYS SMART (the voices told me so)

Heard this quote today:
“Work Smart Not Hard” only works if you’re competing against dumb people. If you’re competing against smart people, everyone’s working smart - So hard work is all you’ve got left.
