I would keep it in a closet for 20 years without unboxing it and then auction it for a ton of money.

Hell no. If anything is free, you are the product. With a VR headset thats just extra creepy to think about.

Bold to imply that there's anything to use a Vision Pro for to begin with.

Just being able to use it as a display for my Mac would be valuable. Whatever else they have for it is just extra.

Though in my case I'd use it as an alternative to having multiple monitors. I live in a very small flat, so a VR headset with virtualised displays is a much more practical option compared to a 6-9 monitor setup. 😇

If it was free, then sure. That will guarantee it will have a minimum user base that most developers need to support, making most apps appealing. I don’t have it, but if I had it, I would use it more if that was the case.

Don't have one, and I'm not planning to unless it's significantly cheaper than it is

honestly i still wouldn't. I had a meta quest for years and used it a handful of times. It takes too long to get going and it causes headaches.

I would, but I don't think it's actually gonna be that great at what it should do. So I would probably stop using it rather quick

If I got an Apple Vision Pro for free, I would sell it immediately, because I could make much better use of $3000+ by spending it on things that are actually necessary for survival, like food and water.
