Is Jujutsu no Kaisen a Legit Fan Ending or just an elaborate troll?

I think it’s dead serious and shows how insulting they are to the actual series. The fact they used shit like AI and still couldn’t deliver a cohesive chapter is telling the skill difference between someone like them and an actual professional artist.

The idea that it's not serious I think is a clear demonstration of how disconnected people are with creating this stuff. Like, IDK *maybe*? That's an utterly incredible amount of effort for bait. So much so that it doesn't really constitute as bait anymore, because they spend a very real amount of hours drawing panels. I'm almost positive it's serious, and this should be an example of the skills of a writer and artist like Gege despite the flaws in his work.

There's no way he said this would be a better more developed ending of jjk 😭

Never count out the insanity of JJK fans. (Or Combat Anime fans in general)

@arpadszabo661

I’d be all for someone making an ending where most of JJK’s plot doesn’t get dropped in the mud for the sake of a 1+ year long Sukuna fight and then never picked up again and just having Gakuganji say ā€œits okay, the young sorcerers will fix the world offscreenā€. But then they should do it properly instead of doing what Gege did, just in a way that it makes 0 sense. Then again, i’m not really surprised that wannabes can’t write a better story than someone who made one of the most popular modern manga even with its flaws.

@NiqRipple

I find it absolutely crazy how it’s supposed to be ā€œfixingā€ JJKs problems but so far it’s just been the same thing but with removed dialogue and worse drawings. Literally nothing so far has changed besides Gojo’s airport scene being removed and even Kashimo still died.

Jin Woo is uni, existing before time and witnessing a Big Bang means being unfazed by universal energy

Regardless of which one it is, there is a detrimental epidemic of people that think just anyone can write much less accurately and honestly create a true-to-source interpretation of an alternate direction of the story

I can't rule the author being a dedicated troll making rage bait, but they'd have to be willing to put in an absurd amount of work to make an alternate ending, to the point that it might as well be them being completely deadass bc ultimately that's what it comes off as. To me at least. To me the entire thing was some dude who maybe had some clever ideas or plotlines pop into his head at points when consuming media. He then decided that Gege didnt do a good enough job, so they'd "fix it" thinking they were a significantly better author than they actually are. I'm a writer myself, mostly poetry, short stories and music but regardless I can recognize writing chops most don't(game recognize game), and from the Beginning I knew that the author of jujutsu no kaisen has very little actual experience. As bro said in boondocks "game recognize game and you looking kinda unfamiliar right now"

i think they were serious because there's always that one fan or in mha's case fanbase that will take it too far

My view right now is that this is a "Gojo returns" fanfic, and they're sincere about it, but don't have the writing or artistic skills for this kind of project yet. I also think they're trying too hard to be cool by copying popular panels from other manga they enjoy. Though that's all based on vibes and my past experiences, not anything in the vein of actual evidence. And assuming this is a "Gojo returns" fic, here's something I'd like to say. I get that the theories were pretty compelling, and people really wanted him to return, but that return wouldn't have gelled with the core themes of JJK's story. Everyone had to move on from Gojo to surpass him, which is why Yuta's use of Kenjaku's technique to literally become Gojo crashed and burned the way it did, while Yuji succeeded by following his own path. I'm not against a fanfic where that happens as a plot device to allow an epic rematch against Sukuna, I just feel that it makes a less compelling ending than what we got. The flaws I see in the canon ending are more to do with things like how Nobara's return was handled, and a few pacing issues that aren't nearly as bad now that it's possible to binge the shinjuku battle in one night of reading.

I feel like they want to make a good fan ending but don’t know how to

@Rekzalot

Here’s my prediction: Mappa will work directly with Akutami to give us a revised and improved ending to the story without the constraints of time and his health. We’re going to get a much more fulfilling and complete ending from the anime. (I am on heavy copium, don’t listen to me.)

Jjk need3d another 200 chapters to cook. Gege was just in a rush I guess.
