Depends on when in the 90s. I went through many phases. When it came out, I thought Ten was amazing. I don't listen to it at all now. Dirt, Nevermind, and Badmotorfinger have all stood up over time for me, but Dirt still hits so hard.

Dirt because I'm a big AIC fan. However I think one of the most underrated albums of that era was Soup. Blind Melon was such a good band and deserves more love than just "No Rain".

Badmotorfinger is my favorite album of all time. Cornell at his most powerful.

Tough question... I hit Dirt but I totally understand Nevermind. That album was insanely popular.

The only one of these that I actually owned was Ten. But honestly, if the me of today is going back to the early 90s I'm buying Mudhoney's Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge. Beautiful, noisy, psychedelic punk that still sounds as fresh and timeless as it must have done 30 years ago.

Badmotorfinger. I actually had all of these and the Soundgarden album is the only one I would still listen to now. I'm completely burned out on Nirvana and Alice In Chains and I can't stand Pearl Jam.

You're at the record store in the early 90s. You only have enough money to buy one album. Which core grunge album are you getting?
