This system strips individuals of their autonomy, transforming them into assets who are unable to exist independently with their own thoughts and humanity for those in positions of power, rather than people who yearn, dream, think, want, and grow. In this pursuit to dehumanize others, the oppressors end up dehumanizing themselves and thus become people who hoard the pensions of wealth to prove superior personhood to other oppressors.
