I prefer DC's heroes but I like Marvel's world more.

Marvel is about people who have to be reminded they have the powers of gods. Dc is a universe of gods who have to be reminded they used to be people

Why i like both dc and marvel Dc: teen titans (Classic), batman brave and the bold. Marvel: spectacular Spider-Man, avengers emh and disk wars.

Dc has larger than life icons, but also very human tiny stories. Marvel has more vices, flaws, and redemption, but so many small stories get swept up in larger scifi world building archs. I will never see a world changing even as meaningful in DC, but I am way more satisfied when the world is saved. I will never take a personal tragedy or victim of crime as seriously in Marvel, but I do take personal struggles to grow as a character from tragedy more seriously. Or at least that is how I understood the companies 20 years ago. For a lack of rebooted universes, I prefer Marvel, but DC gives me legends and fables for how iconic some stories are.
