Missouri Star

It’s a new year, so we’re doing a little rearranging to make room for even more quilts 😉
How do you organize, display, or store the beautiful quilts you create?!

I give mine away that way I don’t need to organize or store. Plus it means they actually get used. Stored and displayed quilts do nothing but collect dust.

Oh my goodness! I wondered where and how you stored the quilts you used for demonstrations. Such a beautiful picture of them just folded and stored.

What an impressive “library” ! I remember, several years ago, Jenny did a video of how MSQC folds, catalogues and stores them (Natalie’s sweet Daughter-in-law was the librarian at that time if I recall correctly).

I wondered what you did with all the quilts you make. This is very cool. I hope they are all signed and labeled. Also that you are teaching the next generation of Missouri Star quilt librarians.

Mine are stored for the rest of my blankets for winter use, or have been given away. I have three finished quilts which I kept and four blankets and due to the dirty dogs that share my bed washed every two weeks with others placed on the bed so all get used monthly in the winter.

I give mine away. I've only kept 1 and I have another 2 more that I'm saving money so I can have them quilted . The only reason I don't quilt all of mine is some have beautiful patterns that I don't want to mess up with my very skill lacking quilting abilities. I want the quilting to be as beautiful as the patterns.

@love__JOY__peaches

Each quilt I've made, I've given away, so no storage issues for me 😁

Impressive stash of quilts. What do you do with all of those? I give mine away to family, friends, and charity. MSQ might consider doing the same (maybe you already do?). Did Ron and Jenny bring any with them to Africa? Another wonderful channel, Jordan Fabrics, does a giveaway at the end of every new tutorial video.

I actually gift mine. I only have one that I’ve kept.

@pauletteliddell2923

I've made one for myself. All the others I've made for my grandkids who are grown now. I have six great grands, so I've made three so far. I have one I'm working on for my mom and another for me..yeah☺

@carleengoldeski5523

I just finished my quilt before Christmas. I gifted it to my mom.

@upriver7047

I give them to family. I've never made a quilt for myself.

@cherylcolby1954

Are these sold? When you’re each making one they pile up fast! I, like others, gift mine. This year ten have gone to others. I have one I made for my mother and have only kept two for myself.
