I just thought of the greatest idea for a regional Honedge evolution line.
The Honedge is a Cheese Knife, a Psychic-Steel type. It then evolves into Doublade, a Normal-Steel type. One blade is Evil-looking, the other kind-looking. It then evolves into a split Evo, using a Dawn and Dusk stone.
The Dusk stone Evo is a Dark-Steel type, the Evil-looking Doublade becoming a butcher's knife. It uses the other one as a meat-picker, as if to pull meat off of bones.
The Dawn stone Evo is a Fairy-Steel type. The kind-looking Doublade becoming a bread knife, and the other one becoming a cake/pie server (those little triangle spatula things)
