I love the crosshatching! You should definitely use this art style, but also keep using your cartoony style, since it’s super memorable and unique! (I like the use of simple shapes and faces) ;)

While I give you serious props on the art (I certainly couldn't do anything that good!), I honestly think it's "too much". Much of the charm of your material comes from the simplicity of your art style allowing people to overlay themselves onto the characters in the situation and better connect with the story / situation you're depicting. It doesn't matter if the person viewing the video is male, female, black, white, etc. Anyone can resonate with your characters, so the focus is entirely on the storytelling. Too much detail may distract, as well as strip some of that immersion away, and interfere with a wider, more diverse audience connecting with your content. Again, no disrespect to your art (might be good for a second channel???)! I just don't want to glaze you and not share honest thoughts about potential impacts it may have that others may not want to share out fear of hurting feelings. I'm far more interested in you continuing to grow, be successful, and achieve your goals ♥️. Keep grinding! You're doing great 👍

Liking the style, reminds me of the Boondocks. Might take you longer to animate, but it looks like it would be worth it.

I absolutely adore it!! I've read some of the other comments and I think some of them are right bout a few things. Your current look is your brand but as an artist you need to be able to experiment and expand for your own sake. Perhaps you could use designs like this for a specific series or stay working on what you already do but slowly and gradually change little things in the designs in your videos until they eventually wind up looking like this. Kinda ease people into it rather than change all at once? They've done this with Mickey Mouse and all the Disney characters, been done with Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes, the Simpson's etc It'd be a shame not to use such a wonderful design for some thing. Idk if you draw comics by any chance? cos the style also looks like it would work very well in that medium. Could self publish on Amazon or something and make collected issues of short stories and skits. OR make them as merch for fans of your channel?

It is really good. The detail changes the mood of your vids though. Maybe use this new artstyle for a diff series of content that you come up with.

That is amazing. You could use this kind of art to really emphasise some things too alongside the rest (if that would be easier)

Absolutely top! My only note is that the expression on your characters face makes me believe that they are in immediate danger.

Honestly....i like both....one for animation and the other for portraits or single images....much as I love your art, I see how much work and detail you put into this and it looks amazing. But I love the simplistic drawings you put in animations. Easy to see and follow and weirdly realistic if that makes sense. You made something simple come to life and I love it and hope it doesn't change. But on this note, if you had to do fully detailed portraits that be nice too, definitely would look good in a frame or wallpaper 👍

Pretty good I'd try and change up the mouth a bit though, it kinda looks like an 80's cartoon compared to the rest of the drawing
