I know people love to talk down on these amps but to this day i don't think I've ever seen an amp with anything quite like the insane setting on these lol, it was genuinely great!!

I’ve had this one amp my entire life. I played my first fender on it, my first Gibson and now my first charvel. It’ll always have a soft spot in my heart.

My first amp that I got on its own, not the 15w fender frontman that came with my Squier strat, was a Line 6 Spider IV 75w and that thing was awesome. Had a bunch of presets that I liked, a ton of effects. Awesome amp for a teenager is his room

I still have my spider 3 and spider jam in my wardrobe somewhere. We all had to start somewhere and these things were just insanely good for starters that wanted all in one

What a throwback. One of my first head/cab combos were the tube version head and 2x12 combo. It might not have been the best thing, but it got me on stage and I’ll forever hold a special place in my heart for those line 6 amps lol

I still have my spider 2 because when I went through my depression and was pawning off a lot of my gear, it was the one thing nobody wanted. Kinda glad I kept it though, just because it's nice to know I have a sign I didn't give up my love of playing after all.

Never had a 6 but still have my Peavy Vypyr, and still use it some. These amps were great in the pre midi days though, and my Vypyr still rocks.

A bandmate had one of these. Another bandmate had the other Spider. I rehearsed through a little Roland Bass Cube, 40W of practice noise. The drummer didn't have a practice setting. Fortunately when we get to a rehearsal studio, we got to play through a Deluxe Reverb, a Marshall combo, and an SVT-150 big d stack. The drummer still didn't have a practice setting.

I've got a spider3 that I still use. I did swap out the speaker a few years ago for an eminence of the British flavor, and it sounds wonderful when driven properly
