Hi I’m up on a family break near the Howgills this week. I was hoping to film a section of them on a day walk but the weather isn’t playing ball ☹️ We will see if it improves, if not I will have to come back!
There aren’t many videos on YouTube of these fells that Wainwright was so fond of. I believe he referred to them as ‘sleeping elephants’; if I can get some airborne shots you will see why 🤞
