Arch

Survey time! What level of production and quality at minimum do you need to watch a Sabbat Worlds Crusade series? feel free to expand on your vote in the comments of course! And do bear in mind the earliest this series would arrive is probably next winter as even with 0 art i gotta reread Gaunt's Ghosts and a lot of planning!

While extra production value is always appreciated, what matters most is that you just make the videos. Your average Lore video is done at a pretty high quality by default, at least as far as commentary goes.

Honestly I loved Vraks and Badab, they were of such high quality. But at the same time I'm not here just for the artwork, we're all here for your oration so you do whatever suits best for your schedule because all the above options will produce a great lore series.

Arch, your previous series on Vraks and Badab have gone far and above what I feel many would consider doing as feasible. You put your heart and soul into these projects and as a fan of both your style of storytelling, and 40k lore in general, personally consider it a gift to this entire community. You know your capacity better than anyone else and the logistics to creating this sort of content, would love to see you kick things up a notch if possible, but more than happy to simply enjoy the same quality standard you have been giving us. Thank you for doing what you do. It is very much appreciated.

i mostly end up tabbing out and listening to these series while doing other stuff, so as long as the story and audio are good man its whatever you want to put into it, and youre consistent in good storytelling and audio :)

Do what you can afford to do, both financially and time wise. I know it's a lot of reading to do along with cataloging characters, events, and oh yeah, all the deaths. As always it will intriguing to hear your take on it and your inimitable narration.

Honestly with how long these series usually go for I prefer having just the custom art because I prefer to listen to these instead of having to actually watch them, but when I watch them the custom art is very much appreciated

You do you, Arch Warhammer. You've been honest in how you wanted to do a series for the Sabbat crusade while also being torn on how much effort you'd like to put towards it. It's clear you love the setting and have a passion for Warhammer 40k. Let your passion show in whatever amount of detail you want to devote to a new series. You've been a steady source of enjoyment in my own pursuit of enjoyable lore and news on the setting. Thanks.

Anything extra you like to throw in is great, but it’s the lore from the master we crave!

Just make it, special assets are not necessary! As long as audio context is given and supported by a relevant image here and there, people will listen and be majorly happy.

@Venneroth

Animations, custom art, these things are splendid and appreciated, but what keeps me coming back to Arch is you, delivering lore with depth, passion and a touch of humor. If you don't think it's worth it to go above and beyond, given current circumstances, that's fair. I'll just play the audio and listen while I work or drive.

I think equivalent is more than fine tbh, everyone's gonna go nuts and say they want it twice as good as vraks with holograms and CGI and a personal handshake from Arch. honestly the standard we've been given in previous series has been great, I wouldn't change a thing.

@Dap1ssmonk

The reason I at least, keep coming back, years later, is you are one of the best story tellers on YouTube. You’re right up there with lindy in your ability to talk about a topic, while digressing down relevant side paths, while remaining entertaining. Warhammer was a weird army men game my dad played with his friends when I was a toddler until I found your total war warhammer army videos. Don’t stop what you do man, it would be a disservice to your craft. You could Chris-Chan style crayon draw the art for this series and I’d still watch it.

@SultanOfAwesomeness

I love the more slow-paced slideshow-esque approach you’ve taken with your previous series, as it means I can keep it rolling in the background while doing other things. It’d be a bit too much to pay attention to with custom animations, given the usual length of these videos and series.

@iclisious

Don't kill yourself, we don't need tons of special art, all we really want is the unique way you present the lore

@inquisitionagent9052

I think I've listened to both vraks and badab series atleast half a dozen times now. As someone who needs to study for hours everyday, these lore videos are a welcome background audio. The art helps me visualize what's going on thought I'll only be giving it an occasional sideways glance. So I wouldn't mind a potential downgrade from Badab levels of art quality. The art is a nice add on. But the audio is what keeps me coming back. The longer the better.

@mr_derp3258

im happy with any kind of production quality, arch is what makes the videos special

@Flyn88

Honestly anything but the custom arts is pretty kick ass cause then that helps expand visualization of the lore for everyone, even people to don’t watch the videos

@ARustySpoon

Not as expensive as badab, but length wise yes! Love the videos regardless of special art just having informative content where you go into details and your personal views on the situations is always great!

@mark_williamh1340

In my humble opinion, it's your word-play and descriptive abilities that make your lore videos stand out, more so than the art.

@NovaXXX7

While I did quite like alot of the art for Badab and Vraks. I mostly listen to those videos as basically podcasts. However I think you might find some advantage in trying some limited high production, perhaps just at the start of a video, both for the clicks, but mostly for the purpose of practicing and refining your craft.
