Mike's Book Reviews

My reading plans for January of 2025 are set. I already finished my December reads so I started Prince of Nothing 3 a touch early.

What do you have planned for January?

In the middle of The Silverblood Promise. Having fun with it. Very easy to read and it's moving quickly, so I'm enjoying it. Then back to Suneater with The Lesser Devil. Excited to hear your thoughts on Echo Saga!

House of Chains and that’s probably it for January. But I’m hoping to find some time to squeeze in Malice so I can start the Faithful and the Fallen series. I’ll also be finishing up Sharpe’s Trafalgar.

Rise of the Ranger was really neat. I still need to continue the rest of the series. But if you imagine a John wick character as a Ranger like Aragorn; it’s pretty solid.

I’m challenging myself to read a book set in every US state in 2015, so I’m reading To Kill A Mockingbird (Alabama), The Snow Child (Alaska), and The Devil’s Highway (Arizona). I’m also hoping to start Realm of the Elderlings!

I am reading Tress Of The Emerald Sea as a pallet cleanser. Afterward, I will start on Hero Of Ages and books 2 - 5 of The Belgariad Series. I will probably put Dungeon Crawler book 3 as another pallet cleanser.
