Released in conjunction with the release of Aridjis Fuentes’ film, the remarkable songs collected on ‘Goodbye Horses: The Many Lives of Q Lazzarus’ are both fascinating and, at times, incredibly surprising, showcasing the different eras of her work and the full breadth of her personality. Recorded between 1985 and 1995, this trove of previously unreleased music – rescued from Q’s archive of cassette recordings and digital tapes – opens a larger window into the world of Q Lazzarus.
‘Goodbye Horses: The Many Lives of Q Lazzarus’ will be released by Sacred Bones Records as a 10-track vinyl, with bonus tracks available on CD/digital, including the iconic single "Goodbye Horses", out on February 21.
