I have a rescue miniature panther, too (two, really -- inherited the other from my deceased sister). Gato sure is a handsome little feller!

We missed you!!! One of my year old cats is taking to loving crawling under the blankets on my bed. I had a long lived cat (passed in 2016) and she loved crawling under the covers with me and loved being made up in the bed when I'd change the sheets. I'd always show her the escape route but sometimes she'd nap in place. I think blanket lover cats would make a great topic!

Jackson - My husband and I adopted our two cats when we were 19, struggling with substance abuse and living in a commune basement. They needed a home and we had no idea what we were doing but your videos and TV show helped us so much throughout the years, from understanding why our shorthair orange overeats and helping him exercise to lose weight, to figuring out that our gray longhair gets easily bored and needs more playtime. We have built cat shelves and designed toys and otherwise spent hours empathizing with our animals - this has taught us a lot about the world and ourselves. We have come a long way from the commune basement with our same two kitty boys, now we are married and own our home and moved away from our hometown so that our little family can thrive. Owning these cats saved our lives. They gave us a reason to clean up our act and work together to be better partners and cat parents. I’m 26 now and can honestly say I didn’t expect to live this long; instead I am happy and healthy and hopeful. All this to say that your content made a huge impact on my life. To some, these animals are “just cats” but I can’t imagine my life without them or without the guidance your work provided. You've honestly helped me understand cats so much! Before volunteering at my local rescue centre, I didn't know that much (obviously the basics) but now I know how to approach different cats based on their body language and it's helped me create bonds with the cats that are more on the terrified side.
