It’s not the government show, like what a threat to our railfanning society. I’m sorry to say this, but sounds like a skill issue for the government. Womp. Womp. I mean, I would rather go with “rails-WITH-trails” which makes 100%. This is because Rails-with-trails use existing rail corridors to create safe walking and biking routes that connect communities to public transportation, improve local travel options, allow railroad maintenance access, and reduce development costs by avoiding the need for new land purchases.

Same thing g here, people don't want trains running by their houses, even if it's light rail!!

I swear certain people will never understand how the rails built this country(and the planet tbh)(especially when regardless of whether the line is operational or not, they go like "oh yeah lets tear em up and make a trail", like WTF) there's a small branch line between Penn hills and Verona Pennsylvania thats supposed to be abandoned in the coming months(supposed to be torn up from what I understand but I don't know all the details). My point is, the fact people want to get rid of a rail line at all is sickening

Just add a trail in-between the road and tracks there looks like there is enough room

This is why I wished I bribed and lobbied against the Salmonberry Trail and I would have voted in politicians to vote down all rail to trail projects and I would have given them $10 Million to Repair the line between Banks and Tillamook and repeal some regulations that limit the railroads Logging industry railroads.

Now we have another railroad to protect from those rails to trails people who need to be taught some sense(if they would like to), or at the very least convince them to put it somewhere else where nobody would build tracks.
