I have had one for years. Wired 3 basements with it. For $29 it’s worth it.

For $29 and small projects it’s probably fine, but I hate these things. They don’t fit on the truck or van good, fall apart, and wire gets tangled. Also I’d rather use a 1000’ than keep grabbing 250’.

It work but long term professional work I prefer the southwire spooler for its build quality.

It's good for holding wire while you're pulling it for wire runs.
